Gabriel Chalita
Gabriel Chalita – Professor, writer, and holder of a Ph.D. in Communication and Semiotics as well as Law; additionally, he holds a Master’s degree in Political Sociology and Philosophy of Law. He has served in various leadership roles within educational institutions and held significant governmental positions. Notably, he has been the former Secretary of Education in both São Paulo State and City, and has served as a councilman in São Paulo and Federal Representative. Chalita is a professor in undergraduate and graduate courses at PUC-SP, Mackenzie, and IBMEC Universities. Moreover, he is an esteemed member of the Brazilian Academy of Education and Languages and Literature, as well as the São Paulo Academy of Languages and Literature.
Marcelo Zig
Marcelo Zig – Marcelo Zig is a philosopher, speaker, diversity and inclusion consultant, social provocateur, and human rights activist. He is the creator of the Citizen Dive Project, a preventive campaign aimed at addressing the third leading cause of spinal cord injuries due to accidents in Brazil. Additionally, he is the founder of Quilombo PcD, a collective of Black individuals with disabilities. Marcelo Zig has been a speaker at TEDx Pelourinho, a curator at TEDx Salvador, and notably, the first Black person with a disability to serve as a Master of Ceremonies at a TEDx event worldwide. Furthermore, he has played a pivotal role as the creator of the Accessibility Program and the Professionals with Disabilities Committee at the Bahia Water and Sanitation Company (Embasa). He also acts as a spokesperson for Inklua, a company specializing in the recruitment and selection of people with disabilities for formal employment. Marcelo Zig currently holds the position of pedagogical coordinator for human rights activism training, specifically targeting young leaders with disabilities at Inclusive Us. He has also participated as a panelist at CONARH 2023.

Issaka Maïnassara / Carlos Alvarez
Issaka Maïnassara – PhD candidate in Sociology at the Institute of Philosophy and Human Sciences – Unicamp, master’s degree in Education from the Faculty of Education – Unicamp, and bachelor’s degree in International Relations from the Belas Artes Center for Higher Education in São Paulo. He is a member of the Carolina Maria de Jesus Studies Center (Bitita) – Unicamp, a researcher at the Center for Rural and Urban Studies – USP, and the coordinator of the Coletivo Raízes São Paulo. He has experience in the fields of immigration, sociology, education, and African literatures.
Carlos Alvarez Nazareno – Bachelor’s degree in Sociology and Popular Educator, activist for the human rights of Afrodescendant, African, migrant, and LGBT individuals. Community social leader with extensive national, regional, and international experience. Founding member of the Afro XANGO Group, “For Inclusion and Social Justice.” He has participated and promoted in various organizations, meetings, seminars, consultations, and events the promotion and implementation of public policies and affirmative actions for these populations. He was the National Director of Racial Equity for Migrants and Refugees and National Coordinator of the “Afrodescendants and Human Rights” Program at the Secretariat of Human Rights of the Nation, Ministry of Justice and Human Rights. Currently, he serves as an Advisor for International Affairs and Cooperation at the National Institute against Discrimination, Xenophobia, and Racism (INADI) in Argentina.
